• Local Storage First: All personal records, lent items, borrower details, dates, and locations are stored locally on your device in an encrypted local database.
• No External Servers: We do not host central servers that upload or store your personal lending records or contacts.
• Third-Party Ads: We use Google AdMob to display ads within the app, which may collect standard device identifiers and usage data to serve advertisements.

3. Information We Collect & How It Is Used

A. Data Stored Locally On Your Device

Lendo allows you to enter and record information about items you lend. The following data is processed and stored strictly on your local device:

1. Lent Items & Details: Item names, descriptions, lending dates, return due dates, categories, and photos attached to items.
2. Borrower Information: Names, phone numbers, or contact identifiers selected from your device's address book.
3. Location Information: If you choose to tag a location where an item was lent, geographic coordinates (latitude and longitude) are saved locally with the record.

B. Permissions Requested & Why

• Read Contacts (android.permission.READ_CONTACTS): Allows you to quickly select a borrower from your phone's address book instead of typing details manually.
• Camera & Media Storage: Allows you to capture or upload photos of items you lend.
• Internet (android.permission.INTERNET): Used strictly to fetch advertisements via Google AdMob and open external links such as this Privacy Policy or app sharing links.

C. Information Collected Automatically by Third Parties (Google AdMob)

Lendo integrates Google AdMob (a service provided by Google LLC) to serve advertisements. AdMob may automatically collect and process certain data, including IP address, mobile advertising identifier, app usage statistics, ad interaction data, and device characteristics.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, trade, or upload your personal lending information or contact list.

The only data shared externally is the non-personally identifiable diagnostic and advertising data processed automatically by Google AdMob to display ads.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Since all your lending records, contacts, and photos are stored locally on your mobile device:

• You can edit or delete any lent item, contact association, or record at any time inside the app.
• Clearing the application data or uninstalling Lendo from your device will permanently delete all stored local data.

6. Children's Privacy

Lendo is not intended for or directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
